OUR WALKERS & SITTERS
Adam
Adam moved to Hoboken to be closer to the city in order to pursue stand-up comedy full time. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from California University of Pennsylvania (yes, that is a real place), Adam, along with his trusty Pug sidekick, Chief Muttley Otis James Lucidi, or Muttley, for short, moved to New Jersey. Adam has loved animals all his life. Having a Cocker Spaniel for most of his life, Adam wanted to get more dogs, but his parents thought one was enough, so what was the first thing Adam did after graduating college? Pay off student loans? Nope. He got a Pug. Before moving to Hoboken, Adam worked at New Jersey State Dog School, with some of the scariest (but sweetest) dogs he's come into contact with. Adam enjoys meeting new people, and dogs, and would love to hang out and walk you dog, but a word of caution, your pooch may make it into his comedy act.
Allison
Allison grew up in quiet Parsippany, New Jersey and moved to Hudson County after her first year of college to take some time off after an academically fast-tracked childhood. Allison loves making music, interpreting in ASL for her Deaf friends, carpentry & welding, and hanging out with her neighbors and their dogs. She hopes to return to school for mechanical engineering or medicine eventually, but for now it's time to kick back with some furry friends!
Christina
Christina was born in Brooklyn, NYC and is a long time resident of North Bergen, New Jersey. She has owned all kinds of animals in her life including parakeets, anoles, hermit crabs, hamsters, fish, dogs and cats. When she is not caring for your furry friends, she works as nanny to twin girls or can be found volunteering in support of her 18 year old daughter, who is associated with the Shark Research Institute. Christina is a firm believer in rescuing animals and shares her home with her daughter, her husband of almost 25 years-whom she met in high school-and her rescue buddies; a 10 year old parakeet named fluffy, Nessie (pictured here) and Brooklyn and Bellatrix, two cats who were NOT ready for their close up when this was taken!
Jaime
Originally from Rhode Island, Jaime moved to Hoboken in 2005 after graduating college with a degree in marketing. Jaime had her first experience with dogs when her family decided to raise a Seeing Eye puppy. Lucky for them, the pup wasn’t bright enough to make it through the program and became their family dog! Having a love for most animals, she had many other pets growing up including turtles, gerbils, fish and rabbits.
Jaime volunteers for Liberty Humane Society and fostered many rescue pups before falling in love with her lab mix, Izzy. After seeing how caring Wagging Tails was for Izzy, she decided to join the team on evenings and weekends! When she’s not walking dogs or taking care of cats, Jaime enjoys cooking, football and reality TV.
Janis
Janis has lived in Hoboken for 17 years with her great husband and two wonderful daughters. Before becoming a stay at home mom, Janis worked for many years in sales and merchandising in the exciting world of prêt-a-porter fashion. Bailey, Janis’ combination beagle-bassett hound-jack russell terrier was adopted from the Liberty Humane Society a little more than a year ago and quickly became a true member of the family. Janis likes keeping busy and now that her girls are less dependent and older, she has extra time to spend taking care of and loving your pets. The walking will definitely be a good addition to her healthy lifestyle, so she’ll be doing a lot of it! She is looking forward to meeting and caring for all of your pet’s needs.
Judy
Judy lives in Hoboken with her beloved rescued pets: (three cats) Wilhelmina, Bronte, Josephine, and (dog) Biggie. She treats all of the pets in her care, as if they were her own: with love, patience and safety in mind. She is thrilled to spend her time taking care of your loved ones! Judy has a dance background and received her training at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance in NYC. After a ten-year hiatus from dance, she became an enthusiastic actor, dancer, stage manager and baker for Art House Productions in Jersey City.
Mario
Mario has been living in Hoboken over 5 years with his wife Laurie and dog Mingus. He was raised in Miami, FL in a family of five children who always had an abundance of dogs and cats at home. "My mom was such an animal lover it was hard for her to say no whenever we brought home a new puppy or kitten". Though he misses the South Florida sun Mario is grateful for moving up to the Northeast. He met his best friend and love Laurie, and also settled in an area that is perfect for an aspiring musician. Right near NYC. He is currently the bass player of a Brooklyn based rock band called My Pet Dragon as well as freelancing on recording sessions for singer/songwriters. "Taking care of pets is such a joy, especially since I spend a lot of time indoors working on music. Being outside with the unconditional joy that animals bring really helps create a balance to my day".
Mark
Mark recently moved to hoboken with his wonderful wife and two fantastic kitties: Hermione and Luna. He has owned all kinds of pets in his life, from cats and dogs to mice and fish to hermit crabs, rabbits, snakes, and even a spider! He loves nothing more than to meet friendly new pets and get to know what makes them unique. When not walking dogs, Mark is an actor and recently got his Master of Fine Arts at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He is thrilled to be in such a dog-friendly city and loves seeing all the different breeds and personalities that Hoboken has to offer. He can't wait to meet, and take good care of, any pets you have.
Max
Max has been a recognizable face in Hoboken for nearly a decade. He studies music, psycology, and national security at NJCU. Max is in a band called Pyroclast and is a session guitarist, song writer and singer. Whether you've met him during his tenures at Water Music, a music studio here in town, or Landmark Coffee or simply seen him running from place to place with his giant headphones, you're likely to have run into him at one time or another. Along with being a fixture in the Hoboken/NYC music scene Max is a lifelong animal lover and has over a decade's experience as a pet owner and caretaker. Animals pick up on his love and tend to love him right back!
Milo
Hi! My name is Milo and I am a dog walker here at Wagging Tails. My love for dogs started as a kid when I got my first puppy, Daisy, a black cocker spaniel. Since then I have owned dogs of all different sizes and shapes. My latest puppy is a min pin named Sadie and she is adorable! I am a local musician here in Hoboken and like the neighborhood. I have an Associates Degree in Music Theory from Raritan Valley Community College. I love to read, play piano, and hang out with my girlfriend and our puppy. I'm looking forward to meeting your dog and getting to know him/her as well.
Nastasha
Rafael
Rafael lives in Jersey City where he hopes to one day open a book cafe. He loves animals and recently fostered a cat [Georgie] that he rescued from a friend's flooded basement apartment after hurricane Irene. Rafael bikes into Hoboken every week to take care of furry pups and kitties and performs in puppet shows for toddlers at Puppetonia. He also freelances as a video editor and has worked for MLB.com, The Onion, and various other agencies and collectives. In his free time Rafael loves to get cozy with a book or listen to Billy Holiday while he's cooking.
Samantha
Sam is a North Jersey native who now lives in Jersey City. She has lived in several cities in the Northeast but will always call New Jersey home. Most recently, she lived in Philadelphia where she finished art school and received her BA in Animation. While in Philadelphia, Sam fostered several cats for the local PSPCA. It was always hard for her to give them up to new owners, but great to see them go to good homes. Since she doesn't have the space for a cuddly friend of her own yet, she greatly enjoys getting to spend time with others' animal friends! When not working for Wagging Tails, Sam spends her time creating various forms of art, listening to wfmu, and riding her bike all over Hudson county.
Sarah
Sarah moved to the New York area nine years ago to further pursue her studies in Media and the Human Condition. She received her BA from the New School and has since furthered her education in Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Massage Therapy, intenSati, and Doula/Childbirth work. He is a full time attorney in private practice in New York and New Jersey, although the bulk of his practice is in New York. He and Janis own Bailey, a combination Beagle/Bassett/Jack Russell terrier rescued from the Liberty Humane Society. He loves and cares about all pets and believes that each of them deserve to be loved cared for and pampered as much as possible. After all, they are just like people – they’re social beings who crave love and interaction with other animals and people.

Tony
Tony grew up in a small Ohio suburb off of Lake Erie with his mother, sister, and two dogs and always had big dreams. He recently graduated from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Arizona, and took a huge gamble moving to New Jersey to find an audio engineering internship. He now works at Hoboken's Water Music recording studio as an Assistant Engineer on weekends, and loves to meet new people, explore the Big Apple, and dig for vinyl treasures at record stores and thrift shops. Since he can't yet provide the space for a dog of his own (and the family dogs are back in Ohio), Tony is especially excited to spend time with some pup pals during the week!
Will
Will is a West New York native. Since childhood, Will has felt an extreme connection to animals. In his life, he has owned chickens, ducks, fish, ferrets, lizards, cats, and many dogs, although currently his apartment is only big enough to house a chihuahua and an iguana. Besides caring for animals, Will loves to write and direct films. He was attending film school at The School of Visual Arts in New York, but is currently taking time off to pursue his own ventures! As an avid animal lover, Will promises to love and care for your pet just as he would his own chihuahua, Fifi!
