I Absolutely Trust Them - We came to Wagging Tails after having a terrible experience with another service in Hoboken. From the first time we communicated, I knew there was something different, something special, about the way they handled their business. We met at our apartment. They listened to our needs, and matched us with a walker who could handle our feisty, high-energy puppy. This is where our walker steals the show. She is a wonderful person, who loves animals and it shows. As our puppy grew and his needs changed Judy (who is just amazing) was able to work with our new routines. When Loki gets sick, Judy is fantastic at following instructions with his medicine, and his overall care. When Loki got sick when we weren't home, Judy and Heather did everything they could to reach us and let us know. If we couldn't get home soon, they would have taken him to the vet for us. Not only am I grateful for the care and concern they have for Loki, but I absolutely trust them if he had to go to the vet under their supervision. I highly recommend Wagging Tails, and have even referred them to a friend in my building who loves them too. Thanks to the excellent sitters at Wagging Tails, my dog is glad to see me when I come home from vacation or a business trip, but she is relaxed and happy.  I can tell she has been well cared for while I'm away, and is in good spirits when I return, even after long trips.  The sitters leave detailed notes so I can see any trends over the course of the visits.  They are helpful, kind and observant, and completely reliable. Besides walking and taking care of my dog, they've also helped me from time to time when things came up while I was away, for example a severe storm blew into town while I was away one time, and I asked Wagging Tails' sitter to move a glass lantern from my balcony so it wouldn't get broken in the high winds; they were happy to help. My dog is 12 years old, small and has had some health issues from time to time, so it's hard to trust leaving her with anyone, but I have total confidence in Wagging Tails and their excellent sitters.  The owners are also very responsive, proactive, and live locally. - Niamh O'Leary-Liu

Reliable and Really Like Cats - My cat is very shy and a little on the clingy/needy side.  I love that my sitter leaves notes for me letting me know that Peanut came out for some attention.  I don't feel so bad about having to leave her.   I could very easily have a friend come in to feed my cat, but wagging tails is reliable and you can tell that their sitters really like cats.  I was very surprised that Peanut visited with Judy on several visits!  It takes patience to let her get to know you. - Brooke Tilton
